I Wish They Wouldn't
The Florida International University, or FIU for short, is a campus with a wonderfully beautiful layout. Everything is pretty well situated and easy to find; from the gorgeous golden panther to the numerous lakes filled the hungry, but friendly turtles, everyone seems to get along just find...except me. I truly believe that the absurd amount of construction that's currently taking place at our lovely campus is ruining it. Did we really need another Starbucks? What about that one building near PG5 that nobody seems to know what FIU is constructing? These little areas are being consumed by construction which just makes it that much harder to commute around the campus, especially when it's raining and you have only five minutes to get to your class. Constantly having to route one's self and make accommodations in order to make it to a class on time. All the construction sites are extremely inconvenient and I may be wrong, but I doubt their usefulness or necessity. I could understand creating more parking lots or classrooms, but instead we get a Taco Bell. Do we honestly need so many eating facilities especially since most of them open and close around the same time? I honestly wish they'd stop investing so much time and money on constructing things we don't truly need.
